Insurance status

Please download, complete and return the Declaration of professional practice form so that the OAQ can determine your insurance status. If you are a senior executive and intend to open a firm in Québec, you must take out liability insurance as soon as you are entered on the Roll of the Order.

Proof of knowledge of the French language (Article 35 of the Québec Charter of the French Language)

If you have completed at least three years of full-time studies in French or have passed the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF) French proficiency examination, please provide proof (diploma, transcript, examination pass certificate). Otherwise, the Ordre will issue you a temporary permit valid for one year and renewable up to three times. During that time, you must pass the OQLF French proficiency exam. For more details, refer to the OQLF website.
